New to the Fast-5 way of eating

Low blood sugar at about 18 hours?

Hi all -
Day 3 of fast 5, I am noticing that at about 1 hour before breaking fast,
I am feeli.ng tired, shaky, and a little out of it.
I have found also during the day that sweating easily, tiring easily.

blech, does this part go away? I do house cleaning for a living and
am worried that I wont have the energy to finish my work by the
end of the day

The E-book doesnt really address this and whether or not this is 'normal'
in the adjustment phase.

thoughts/input?
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone! I downloaded the book, but I think I might order the paperback from amazon, as I hate reading from my computer.

As full disclosure, I am currently following The 8 Hour Diet, but the Fast 5 is so full of great tips and information without the hype in the 8 Hour Diet book, that I'd like to be part of this community. And really, it's just a difference of 3 hours of eating!

I am very impressed with the Fast-5 book and I also love reading all the science behind intermittent fasting.

Just wanted to say Hello :) I am new here !!

I am on day 3 and am pretty hungry right now..lol..my window is 1:30- 6:30 .I have about 50 pounds to loose..

Headaches!!

Fast-5 given me some hope, as nothing else has worked for me.

I just started a week ago with a noon break-fast, but I had to revise that to 10am because of tremendous headaches. I do have a high pressure job, but I've never had a headache problem before. The headaches interfere with my work. Any suggestions?

Thank you for any help!

Sleep!

Hi everyone! I'm in my 2nd week of fast-5ing it and really love it so far....it's so easy to do!!! My feeding window generally opens 1700-2200, which is the time that I really wanna eat anyway and never have any self-control!

Anyway, my questions are regarding sleep...

Committed to this

Hi, new here
I'm Stephanie, happily married mom to a gaggle of seven kids.
I am trying to ultimately get off 50 lbs, but for now I'm trying for 30, just to get me back to the weight I was before I ruptured my Achilles' tendon almost 2 years ago. I went from being in great shape and getting baby weight off to not being able to do much of anything.

long term

Hi,

I see on different websites many posts of people who have just started this way of eating. Some write they are in their first week, or the 2nd month. Even a few as long as 6 or 8 months. I'm just curious to find out if people moved on long term. I saw 1 video on You Tube about a lady who said this was her 4th year on Fast-5. I would like to know how people are doing long term. Are there other issues that immerse, why do most people quit the plan.

Is Fast-5 healthy on the long-term??

Fasting doesnt work for women?

Hi all -
Just stumbled on intermittent fasting on the net yesterday.
At first everything sounded very intriguing, but now I am reading
that it doesnt work well for women. Doesn anyone have any information
on that? Kind of deflated my bubble :-((

First week results/Curvesarein

Day 7 my weight is 2.6 pounds down. Now at first I was disappointed. But all week was a carbfest! Spaghetti, pumpkin pie, tacos, bacon and eggs, potato soup. High fiber Pumpkin bread. Only vegetables were some raw brocolli one day, a salad another and V8 juice. No exercise either. I do feel better. No depression and racing thoughts and anxiety.
Blood pressure is 110/60

Cofee with creamer .

My other message somehow triggered spam, so I am trying this.

Some people do it and still lose weight, some don't. Some say it breaks the fast. If you must do it make sure it is pure cream and no sugar. Pure cream, some say doesn't spike the insulin. You will just have to see what workes for you. Welcome to the group
