heavy work out program and Fast-5?

I have been on the 6 meals a day program for quite some time and have seen minimal results in leaning out so I gradually have increased my cardio time to longer and do pilates every day but Sunday. My total work outs are an hour long and I aim to burn 500 calories total or more. Do you think that this new eating plan will allow me to relax a bit more and could it possibly replace some of this exercise? I just want my muscles to show through on my thighs and hips! Thanks :)

hillary, try crossfit...or at least increasing your weight training. It will give results much faster than increased cardio.

I have read a lot about getting lean, as that what I'm doing at the moment, and cardio should be kept to 15-20mins only or HIIT training. Cardio (the slow steady type you're familiar with) has barely any true fat loss enhancement effects. It can increase your metabolism in small increments, but nothing compared to training to increase or maintain muscle size. Example look at a long distance runner then look at a sprinter, another tip is to take BCAA's before training in a fasted state as it gives the muscles energy without breaking fast. I was on 16/8 fast but now on the fast-5 and I need a few adjustments but getting there.
