Well i used to be an atkins follower and i did many low carb diets in the past from 1998 until 2006. The sad thing is that as soon as you leave low carb and eat normal again you gain the weight back.
I just started Eat stop Eat and am really getting into this whole intermitent fasting.
I just love it. As for low carb i cant even start to imagine the weight loss combined with Fast-5, hey i might even give it a try.
i'm going to try this too. :)
Hello,
I'm Nam
I see your comment on the website
I'm gonna try this too but I can't downlode an E-book
If you have , would you please sent me an email
Thank you
why can you not download the e book?
when you click on the 'download here' link a pdf file opens - click on save and its done!!
Hope you managed to download it! This is a really good way to lose weight. It works for me as I am an all-or-nothing type person. Also I love it in the book when Dr. Herring say "be careful with that blowtorch!"
Hi Nougat,
I am having trouble finding the download button for the e-book... can you send me the link (page url) or something?
Thanks,
Once you've signed in, the link to the download should appear as the top entry on the menu in the left margin, under your login ID and above "My Profile." If you don't see it, please email info@fast-5.com and ask that a copy be emailed to you.
What about down regulation of metabolism on Fast 5? Your body adapts to fasting/dieting usually in 6 to 8 weeks I am told. Have any of you experienced this while on this particular form of intermittent fasting?
If it has happened (I'm long past the 8 week mark), it's too subtle to make a difference in my rate of weight loss.
During short fast of up to 3.5 DAYS your metabolism actually increases due to adrenaline and cetacholamines being released to Get u up and moving to find food. It increases like 5% and then after about 3.5 days it starts to down regulate IF you don't eat. Doing a 18 hour fast and 6 hour eating window is not going to down reg ur met. U can fit a whole days calories in that window so it doesn't matter that u save all cal for the 6 hours or spread them out, it's still getting the calories and the "starvation mode" is a myth. Research www.leangains.com for the studies on intermittent fasting.
are you still doing Eat Stop Eat?? How have you found that program to be.
I seem to like the regularity of this one, but I was wondering more about the GH benefits comparison.
